We understand that the costs of high quality surgical care is often an added source of concern for our patients. As with our surgical care, we endeavor to make the financial aspects of treatment as streamlined and painless as possible as possible.
Our insurance/financial coordinator will discuss the financial aspects of treatment with you at the time of your consultation visit. For your convenience we accept VISA and Mastercard as well.
For Medicare recipients, it is important to note that Medicare will not cover anything with regard to dental procedures, even if they are "surgical" (except in rare cases where the surgery was being performed in preparation for radiation therapy for head and neck cancers). Medicare Part B will normally cover procedures related to pathologic conditions that require biopsy, (as these procedures are considered to be medical in nature rather than dental) so on these occasions we will submit the necessary charges to Medicare. Please note that we do not participate in any Medicare HMO's, so if you are a member of a Medicare HMO, and you have a pathologic condition or injury that may require biopsy and/or treatment (and would normally be covered by Medicare), you will need to be seen by a designated provider for that HMO. Feel free to call us if there are any questions regarding Medicare coverage.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at (phone). Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
Any remaining balance after Medicare has paid their portion is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.
We do not finance directly through the office. We do however have an outside patient financing program called CareCredit. Patients can apply to CareCredit much in the same manner as they would apply for a credit card. CareCredit will pay your balance with our office, and then you can extend payments over a period of time. Please see our receptionist for a CareCredit application.
