If you are covered by Dental or Medical insurance, please present this information to the receptionist when you check in. If coverage is available, we will try to assist you in obtaining any reimbursement for your procedure. Most Dental insurance companies cover oral surgical care to some extent, and we will try to determine the extent of coverage at the time of your visit. Medical insurance is less likely to cover routine oral surgical services, but in some cases (such as biopsies or impacted wisdom teeth), there may be some provision for coverage of these procedures. We will make every attempt to assist you in obtaining the maximum reimbursement from your insurance benefits. In more extensive case such as wisdom teeth, we will try to determine how much coverage is available prior to the procedure, and what copayment the patient will be responsible for. It is important to note however, that even though we may be a participant with a particular insurance company’s provider panel, the patient is still responsible for the entire fee, even if the insurance company fails to pay all or part of the expected benefit.
Please call if you have any questions or concerns regarding your initial visit.
Please remember to bring your insurance information with you to the consultation so that we can expedite reimbursement.
